Progress and cuteness

Can babies get any cuter than this? I think not.



And I still can't believe how much hair she has! By the way, Emi gained more than 2 pounds in her first month of life! She went from 5lbs 7 oz at her 1-week check-up to 7lbs 13 oz at her one month check-up last week. Her Dr's comment was "Wow - she must be a good eater!" She sure is... She's getting those chubby little newborn legs, and doesn't feel so tiny in my arms anymore. They grow up so fast...*sniff*.

First bath

I know I'm behind on posting...there just isn't enough time in the day it seems!
Here is a picture of Emi's first bath in the tub, and of course, Miya was right there being helpful the whole time. :)

Hats and cameras

We haven't been able to go outside much this winter (you know, new baby, cold weather, etc.), so Miya has taken to wearing her winter gear inside the house. Don't you just LOVE that hat?!


She's also learned how to take pictures (note the finger in front of the lens) with her camera, and she gets quite a kick out of seeing mommy, daddy, and Emi on the screen.
