Easter helper and hunt

One of Miya's favorite things to do is be mommy's helper in the kitchen. Here she is sporting the little Easter apron she got from grandma and grandpa Nishida.

We hosted an Easter egg hunt for play group at our house this week. We had about 15 kids between the ages of 1 and 4, and we had a good time. Thanks to Heather for snapping some pictures for me!

Dressing up

The other day I found Miya in our closet with mommy's shoes on and daddy's tie around her neck. Nice combo, huh? :)

Baby Blessing

I know I'm behind on this, but I'm finally posting a few pictures of Emi in her baby blessing dress. The blessing was beautiful, and amazingly, Emi was content and quiet through the whole thing.




Evidently Emi has little patience for pictures when it takes several minutes to coordinate mommy and Miya kissing her at the same time. :) We never did get it quite right.

First hair cut

Miya got her first hair cut last month (yes, she finally grew enough to warrant an acutal cut!). Although I was worried that she wouldn't sit still (she rarely lets me put her hair into a ponytail or even comb it for more than 5 seconds), but she did really well the entire time. And look how cute those little curls are!
