Christmas time means laughter...and bunk beds...and haircuts

We decided to get the girls a bunk bed just after Thanksgiving, and as you can see, Miya was thrilled about it! Emi sleeps on the top, and Miya on the bottom. Of course we had to decorate their house for Christmas, especially since we live in an apartment now and have no house to decorate of our own! Surprisingly, we've had absolutely no trouble with Emi getting out of bed since transitioning her from the crib. It was truly a Christmas miracle!

Emi also got her first haircut in December. Miya also got a trim, and made sure to tell the stylist how she wanted her hair: "I want it cut long, like Rapunzel. Down to here." (pointing to her toes as she says this, the result of uncle Dave having taken her and her cousins to the movie Tangled over Thanksgiving. She seemed happy with the result, though was disappointed it didn't reach to her feet.

LOVE the bunk beds. My girls need that when Abby is big enough. Did yall buy it from somewhere or did you make it?

Yes, they love them! We originally saw the bed at Furniture Row, but friends of ours have seen it at other furniture stores. We've been keeping our eye on Craigslist and found a great deal!
